  21. "The Plymouth Mac User Group"

We are a new user group which has only just started and are experiencing a steadily growing number of members. The founding members are primarily basaed in Plymouth but we do cater for other cities and countries as well. We have members from Callington to Canada and from Bristol to Pakistan. You can visit our web site at:

  24. This was created and is maintained by Guy Ollerearnshaw, one of the founders. Here you can join the club, find links to other Mac related Web sites, find items for sale or swap and many more Mac related items.

  26. Our logo concepted and designed by  Tony Hughes also a founding member.

The main idea of the club is the general promotion of Macintosh in the South West through our members andthrough advertising the club to the public at large. PMUG is also  designed to help people with technical problems or any queries they might have regarding their Macintosh systems. The more members we get, the broader the accumulated knowledge. We have also links to MacAce - a Macintosh dealer here in the South West who is willing to support us with advice on upgrades, parts, software and anything Mac related.

In addition we publish a monthly newsletter which gets e-mailed to members on the first of each month. Via the newsletter we try to get new members to introduce themselves or any member to write articles. The idea is to get everybody involved. A club from Mac users for Mac users. Mac networking on a personal level.

  31. We are currently looking for a possible venue for a monthly meeting. A difficult task owing to the many different locations of our members.

  33. Also planned for the future are club outings to Apple events (Expos etc).
